BSHP Spring 2021 (Baptist School of Health Professions) ADN

Published

Has anyone here applied to Baptist School of Health Professional in SA, TX for Spring 2021 . I just took my TEAS test today. I haven’t seen a thread for this coming semester so I wanted to start one.

Yes, next semester will Be online. I’m not sure how things will change for you throughout  the program depending on Covid, but as of now due to Abotts order, 1st  years students can complete 50% of clinical hours online and final year can do 100% online. It will probably change by next Summer though.  So as of now, you will be doing 48 hours on site for each class in the first and second semester, and the remaining 48 will be online via case studies and sims (shadow health and swift river). And then you will be doing everything online for third and fourth so you won’t go to hospitals at all for peds or OB. You will probably go to lab 1-2 times for each class.  I haven’t been on to the hospital since Summer for mental health since I am in the 3rd semester right now. As far as I know, advanced will be all online but we will be doing management at the hospitals.

Hey again. Do you happen to know what that direct deposit form is the school asks before you start the program? I’m just trying to be cautious with what I share especially when it involves my bank account.

It’s so you can you receive any leftover funds from financial aid. They will deposit them into your bank account.

I just gave them a blank check. It will have the account number and routing number so they can deposit refunds. I trust the finance department 200%

My science pre-req GPA is 3.33 and my TEAS was 90.7%, all sections were over 90% except the science which was 83%. My impression is they rank the applications by the numbers and offer admissions. It's convenient they are so quick with the turnaround. Less than 2 weeks and they get you a decision, so you don't have to wait long!

It's my understanding that they don't look at the overall score but rather each section. What is the range for each section? What were your scores for each?

How did you prepare for TEAS?
