Hey guys! Anyone planning on applying for the January/Spring 2021 start date at Broward? I know the applications just opened up.

Thank you @ndrullard Do we really have to take the Summer semesters off? I heard someone say that but I wasn't sure.

I'm just thinking that would make full time 2.5 years if the Summer semester doesn't count?

You have to follow the schedule; if there are no classes offered in the Summer, then you can't take any courses over the Summer. Some specialties are not taught during the Summer.

Is it true you have a 1-2 week break in between 8 week courses?

The nursing program usually runs on the academic term schedule as the college as far as when terms begin and end. You can find the calendars online https://www.broward.edu/registrar/term-dates.html. If there are different dates, the program office will let you know.

Congratulations everyone! I’m excited to finally start this journey. Does anyone know if the classes will be held virtually? I know the pre-admission will be held through D2L but I didn’t see anything regarding on campus classes.

Thanks! Congrats to you as well. And I'm not 100% sure. I got an email from the school saying that most Spring classes will be held online. I'm not sure if the nursing program is included in that. The email also said that 30% of course options will be on campus.

I wonder! Last year I was accepted into the program and it was so exciting to get through the pre-admissions and all. I just couldn't start due to some financial reasons but I was able to better prepare myself and I'm happy I was accepted again and fully ready this time whether on campus or not.

I'm sure we will find out though our D2L session.  Just waiting!

Check your emails!

Hey guys! To those that got into the FT program, what was your schedule like the first semester? How many days a week did you have class and clinicals? And were you able to work at all?
