Broward College Spring 2021

Hey guys! Anyone planning on applying for the January/Spring 2021 start date at Broward? I know the applications just opened up.

I would apply to multiple schools for their Summer program.  Spring at BC had A LOT of applicants, and with the points it was extremely competitive.  I wonder if this is their first time with such a high applicant pool. 

Can you retake any of your classes to increase your points?

I don’t think BC allows re-takes plus I’d just be taking all courses over to get an “A” instead of a “B” and it’s not really worth it. I’ll probably look into other schools since most applicants are picked by their points.

It is my understanding that BC has waived the first attempt, and is taking either the highest, or last earned grade.  If you search for Nichol's name, I know she talked about it on this board.

Do you know what the total that applied were and how many were accepted? I didn’t see it in the email

Even if it is waived. I don’t want to re-take 4 classes for 1 letter grade difference. That’s money and time I don’t have.

I would only retake the class you got the C in, not all of them.

To anybody who didn't get in, I'm sorry.  

Re-apply for Summer, or even Fall.  You do not pay the application fee again.
