Hi!!! Anyone attending BC south campus nursing program in the fall?? Im hoping to attend that campus, and looking forward to meeting my fellow classmates = )

Does anyone knows places where to notarize your papers?

i think they notarize at the bank and in admissions... i got mine notarized by someone i know personally

I asked at the info desk in admissions and they gave me a slip of paper, sent me through a door and someone notarized it for me.

Turned in my papers today and bought a orientation packet.

You can notorize your papers free of charge at the registration office. There are 2 people that notorize. talk to a person at the info desk, they will give you a slip of paper and you go through a door to the back.

did anyone buy their books yet? Im trying to figure out which ones exactly we will need for first semester so i can just buy those.. i dont want to buy the whole list of books just yet

I bought mine. In the north thread sunnyraygirl has a list of the ones she used for process one. I just bought those for now. I got them all through amazon. I will see if I can find the list.

This is the list she suggested:

Fundamentals of Nursing

Clinical Nursing Skills and Techniques

Jarvis Pocket Companion for Phys Assessment

Cox's Clinical Application of Nursing Diagnosis

Davis Drug Guide - won't need until NP2, which is in Oct, so you can wait to buy this later

Fluids and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy- also won't need until Oct for NP2

Taber's- this isn't really a "must have" but I did like having it

Did anyone receive the email from the mtb1370 professor LH about him changing the class time to Thurs from 1PM to 5PM. It was originally 1PM to 3PM then 3PM to 5PM so it gave us a 2 hour break. So he's taking away the 2 hour break?

yes i got that email too. but how did we have a 2 hour break?.... it looks like the same amount of hours to me, they just combined the two times

i called the department and they said there is a book packet but the bookstore wont confirm the price yet can anyone tell me how much it is and what it brings

Ok, yeah I was wrong about the original class times for LH's class woops! And I am going to the bookstore today I will try and find out.
