Broward college nursing program 2020

Hello!

I'm a prospective nursing student for January 2020 at Broward college! I know I am super early but I am just overwhelmed with excitement! I took my HESI test yesterday, and to be honest I wasn't sure I would pass. I gave myself enough time to re-take it again in 30 days and then submit my application. Well.... I studied for 13 days straight and I passed!!! If you'd like some tips, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know. I submitted my application today, so fingers crossed. I know it will be a while but I am happy I finally made it this far. Hope to hear from any other applicants! ?

Has anyone purchased shoes yet? I looked up the sketchers with the memory foam that the other nursing students mentioned during orientation, however, I see that they have a little bit of silver on them.... I can't seem to find "all white" ones. Let me know if you all found any please!

Also... I am having trouble with the scrub pants.... The small is too tight and the mediums are huge... lol Just thought I'd share. They don't run true to size just so you all know.

I got some sneakers at Walmart at they’re completely white. I think they were $18. They were super comfy and you can add an insert. Those has a little reflective strip but I don’t think it’s that big deal bc you really can’t see them.

I also got the small scrub bottoms and they were fine except in the hips! So I know the mediums are going to be huge.

Geraldine thanks! I'll look and see if they still have the shoes.

I had the same issue with the hip area =/ The mediums are definitely much bigger.

Did you find these shoes at a Walmart store or order online? They seem to be all white and I'd love to get these instead of the more expensive pairs until I know more about what is required.

This is the one I got from the bookstore with the isbn on the list.

the bookstore has the 6th edition. That’s the one I got.

The list says the 5th edition but the isbn comes up for the 6th. Central bookstore has a completely different book with the nursing book

It looks like that’s for a different class. The background says Nur4128.

i got mine at central and it was the 6th edition of the other book. It wasn’t next to the other NUR books.
