Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

When do they start looking at applications for January? I know obviously it's early now but just curious for when my anxiety starts all over again

A 3.0 isn't a low gpa. It's actually well over the requirement to be considered into the nursing program. There have been times where 3.0 were accepted. I've actually seen lower gpa than that accepted. Like Nichole said every applicant poole is different and it depends on who applies which gives the range of what will be the lowest gpa accepted. There could be a lot of reasons why an individual's gpa isn't as high ex: kids, family issues, loss of job some things are just out of our control. Anyone with a 3.0 don't give up I know I won't. I don't know if people on here are religious but I think what God as for u is for you no matter what. So let's keep our head up and let's hope we see that status change to PRE ADMISSIOM������!

i I believe they start looking at applications after the deadline of sep 15th so we should probably know by October such a long time
