Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

I'm getting exciteddddddd

Where the central hopefuls at tho lol

I'm hoping for Central. My second choice is South.

Do you guys know if if/when you get accepted and get the date of orientation is there anything to be done between that day and orientation ? Or do we just wait until orientation to get info of everything we do.

We just wait for orientation to get the instructions on everything we need :) I wouldn't start anything before that personally because I wouldn't want to pay money for the wrong thing or do the wrong thing

This is the BEST answer I have seen to that question in all of the boards I have been monitoring. Please do not do ANYTHING prior to pre-admissions, if you are accepted. If there are changes to any of the requirements, and you complete the wrong paperwork, you will be required to do the correct paperwork, and will not be reimbursed for the wrong paperwork.

I'm a Central hopeful too

 ONE WEEK LEFT!

Yay can't wait. I'm so excited as well. I'm even excited to go uniform and supply shopping. :)

I really need everyone's input towards central and south campus both are the same amount of distance to me and if I were to get accepted I have no idea which one to attend since I have heard mixed reviews on both iv heard more positives about south than central tho so any input would be greatly appreciated

I would think central is the best

Me! I heard south is tough

I've heard ALL campuses are tough :nailbiting:.

But I'm sure we will all do just fine. All the hard work will pay off with a Degree!

I'm hoping for Central but South will be my second option/choice.
