I bought my text book used from Amazon. It actually just arrived today, in great condition- doesn't even look used! For $50, by the way.

I got the 7th edition of the potter/perry book for now and I will start reading up on the chapters. I will purchase the 8th edition later on right before the program. Is it that big of a difference?

Hi Bethany yes we will receive all the info at orientation and I read a couple pages then stopped cause I decided to finish the certificates and get that out of the way.

chrisieefaith from what I read from other post people have been using 7th edition and there's not much of a difference.

I don't know if anyone is having the same issue with the certificates but Ill put it out there just in case. I mentioned I had emailed Nicole, regarding the expiration on these certificates. I had done all but one last october and I was wondering if i needed to redo them or just update them (do them over) when it got closer to the expiration date. Nicole responded to me today and said:
"The certificates are good for 2 years. If you completed them in 2014, then you would renew before they expire (2016)."
So I don't have to do them until it expires. Thank goodness because I have so much on my plate. I still have the plastic on my fundamentals book...I don't think I will get any reading done because of all my classes so I will just have to find time before the program starts lol
and we should either exchange phone numbers or whatever you guys use. I can do that or whatsapp (i like that for group messages)

No that's not the text book that's the clinical companion it helps you with the clinical i brought the same one.the textbook looks the same but doesn't say anything at the top.....

right the text book looks exactly the same but doesn't say "clinical companion" on top. Plus it's a million pages long :yes:

you will need the companion book though. Other students said it's very helpful!

Good morning, does anyone know more or less when would the people who applied to LPN to RN bridge program will get a response about our acceptance? i am going crazy here :nailbiting: ... anybody else here applied for the bridge program..
