Broward College Nursing May 2015

Published

Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!

Hello my fellow "waiting" friends! Does everyone's application fee say "N/A"? Just analyzing every detail at this point.

Yes if u already paid don't worry your fine!

Specializes in Cardiac/Telemetry/Covid19.

Hi Future ARNP, I am taking Micro also with a classmate who is currently in the program. I can't remember what campus he goes to for the program, but we're both at Central for our class and lab. He has completed 3 semesters already and can't move forward until he completes Micro. He has had to take this now during a regular semester because he said the class wasn't offered during the short term of Summer. I'm sure it's a tough decision for you, but you may really want that break in the middle to relax rather than take that class in the Summer when it will seem more harder. Is there anyway you can try to work around your situation and tackle it another way by changing study strategies, etc. :)

Hello hammock bound do you know anyone in the program who has not completed microbiology yet and do you no if they are doing it in the program

Hi Katherine_q yes, mine says the same thing and I paid back in December. I guess we'll have to wait until after Spring break now.

3 days... and February is a goner. Hopefully after spring break we will start hearing some answers!

Enjoy your spring break, ladies!

Sorry Dolfan about your laptop! yikes! Thank gosh for Mommas! :dummy1:

Waiting .. Waiting .. Waiting .. :grumpy:

Yes London fog I just saw they have tutoring for micro I'm going to go every night to study my but off I still have a good chance to past and thank u and yes I want that break lol we all will need and deserve that break.....

Hey future ARNP I'm with London on this. I felt the same way when I took micro. By midterms I was failing but the professor didn't give up on me kept showing me my grades every week I studied my butt off and passed with a B! Also I went to tutor center when I was having trouble with math they have some real helpful people there. They really help u to understand the problems by the time I took my finals I was answering all the questions with complete confidence and passed with flying colors! Don't give up! Good luck! :)

Can't wait for March to hurry up and get here! I will be cruising with kids over Spring Break so while there are not many things that could distract me from the waiting, a Disney cruise definitely will!! You know I will still figure out a way to check on the boat...ha! future ARNP, stick with the micro. Like everyone else said, just stay focused and get any help you can. You will get through it and then be so glad that you didn't give up, knowing that its complete!

Have fun on your cruise katherine_q!!! I love cruising and try to go every year but I must sacrifice it for this year to concentrate on my first year of school but come next year the ship is calling my name!!! ;)

Hi everyone I'm a recent BC grad and just passed the NCLEX. The program is indeed challenging, but there's a reason why the NCLEX pass rate and job's hire a BC grad. When you are done you will look back and see how everything was for a reason. I didn't even have to really review much for boards because we were trained and prepared so well. Good luck to everyone your time in the program will fly, stay focused and committed and you will be fine.

PM by patriley congratulations!!! That's great! Good luck in your career! So glad to hear such positive things about the program! :) thanks for sharing

I can't receive PM's because I need 15 replies, but if you need to ask anything lmk.
