Hi everyone,

Dolfan- I just wanted to say you're going to be an amazing nurse! You really are! :) You keep everything going on this forum and you're really considerate and helpful to everyone...that's just a brilliant quality you have. One of many I'm sure. I hope you know how much we appreciate you. :) Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

Thx London! Anything I can do to help! I wish all of us can go to the same campus :( we've been bounding for so long on this site! Hope we can keep in touch once we start. Even if it's just touching base with each other during school breaks and days off! :)

Hi everyone and happy Friday! Question about CEUfast...so I have the following that we need to do: AIDS/HIV (4), Hep C (2), Domestic Violence (2), OSHA (1), TB (2) and Infections Control and Barrier Precautions (4). What about Medical Errors Prevention (2)...I took that one last night and I would think that it matches with our list given. Going to North campus. Thanks!

Yes those are the ones I did and they accepted all of them. The dean from out campus also addressed that question in the email she sent us and said that for those of us using CEUfast those are the ones we should do

Thanks Dolfanjenny! Was the medical error prevention one of them?

Did anyone buy uniforms yet. .?

Yes the medical prevention is one of them. No I haven't bought any yet I'm waiting till maybe Tuesday cause I called the bookstore and they said our orientation packet (south) would be in on Tue so I don't want to have to make so many trips!

Kathy its "medical errors prevention" 2 hours just to clarify :)

So, How did it go taking all those shots????? Did anyone have a reaction? Did you get sick later on that week?? Did the injection site get red and swollen? Any strange things happen to you? I am so scared to take the shots, its the deciding factor whether I will go in August or not. Let me know.

Well sweetcup don't worry so much about it! The titers they draw your blood so it depends on the person doing it. Some are very good at it. U can do it now if u want instead of waiting. I had done mine back in May of last year. As for the shots not too bad. I do have to say that with the tetorifice my arm hurt alot and I've gotten a tetorifice before years ago. I took some ibuprofen and put some ice on it and was all better. That was the only one that hurt the rest was ok. It's something u only have to do once in a blue moon (with the exception of TB skin test) that's required every year while in school. Don't let that scare u off. It's a pinch then its over with. Were you ever vaccinated as child?? I was so I only had to do the blood test to show my immunity. From what I can remember (ALL those years ago) LOL I didn't have a reaction to any of the vaccines.
