Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!
We don't have to wear uniforms at north's orientation just says business casual.
Jenny I was going to go to financial aid but they're closed. Either way I noticed my loan went through as well as $600 of financial aid which was more than enough to pay for the tuition so I'm relieved. All I have to worry about are books and supplies. Anybody look at the list of books we need for the classes ? Soooooo manyyyyyyy. I wanted to get a head start with them through amazon or other websites but I don't know which ones exactly we need. Anybody know for north? Especially for the first semester??
Glad u got it all sorted out Gaby! I'm still in limbo I hope someone in financial aid can help me out...hopefully I get someone helpful. I'm going first thing Monday morning. If I can't get financial aid or scholarships or a loan I'm gonna have to do tuition payment plan which I really can't do so here's hoping!
I know what you mean, I didn't think financial aid would kick in this quickly and that was my main concern. If you're not able to get state grants i think you can still qualify for loans. I know they suck but at least for this semester you know?

Is the perry potter book the one that in a bundle come with a study guide? I bought that big book with the study guide as a bundle already....what other book are required..i doubt we need all of these right?
Heres a screenshot of what I see
i believe those are for all the classes except NUR1210 and its lab
The perry potter one u already have with study guide also the drug book I heard we definitely need and Hammockbound mentioned another one earlier. I would also get math and maybe some supplemental ones to start then see what the professors say. Check on half.com they have some decent prices as well as Amazon.
& yes loans suck but I figured for this first semester will be fine till I get it all sorted out with financial aid once I stop working.
I have aetna too, mines was covered...all i have to pay for is the tb shot because my doctor doesn't do them, but i found a place that does it for 12$
For those that have insurance call them and see if they will cover your vaccinations, sometimes they cover it 100% because it can be considered preventative care. I have aetna and mines is covered my best friend has Cigna and hers was fully covered too thank god!

Not sure about central orientation package I'm sure they will email u guys as it gets closer to orientation date. U can always try calling the bookstore and see if they have it in. I think north might be the only ones that recieve it in the email.
