Central had a fitting room (closet. ..lol) when I went to try on pants.

Hey guys, stopped by north campus bookstore today to check out how much the scrub top would be especially since we can purchase bottoms anywhere. It's 24.99 with no refunds and there's no fitting room anymore -_- but we are welcome to open them and see how they run. Also I've been looking up the fundamentals of nursing book and I found it on valore books.com for around 90 bucks brand new. A lot cheaper used. I've used this site religiously with my other courses so it works great. Just thought I'd share a bit with you all. Can't wait to meet you guys Friday at 9am. I'm so anxious/excited :)

check on ebay, amazon, or half.com. i found mines new for $67. seller was gopeachy

I don't know much about scrubs. Guess I'll be getting used to that word. Does BC require a particular top from the book store?

Oh jeez I haven't even looked at prices lo . Makes me nervous because I'm relying on my last loan check to come through hopefully next week. I even dreamed about getting my physical last night for the program lol. So I spoke to a girl in my micro clas . She just got accepted as LPN to rn. And said LPN to rn are the ones usually assigned a campus. She already got assigned to North even though her first orientation isn't til the 16th. I may add she lives in Miami. But she didn't seem phased by it. She said she was happy and isn't mad about it. I loved her positivity lol.

Yes the tops have to be the scrub tops with the bc logo that they sell in the bookstore. I also believe they let u use the polo shirts (also with the logo) also found in bookstore. But I would wait to see what they say at orientation before buying those

Thanks dolfanjenny, I am getting nervous as the orientation approaches. Keep wondering what in the world I am getting myself into. Can I even stick someone with a needle, or can I take care of a sick or injured child without (you know).

Trust me you can I'm the worst patient ever I hate needles but I can stick people with no problem when I'm at work I think of my patients as if they were my family member and you do all you can for them treat them like you know them trust me you will be surprise how great you are I use to be the Same way....

Sweetcup don't worry!! Oh I remember those days...10 years ago...I was the same way. Super Nervous!!Then I remembered something one of my professors told me when we got to that point (get it? Point... LOL) He said, now read this very carefully! He said, and I quote:

"Don't hurt me none"

Hi everyone. Congratulations to you all ! Does anyone know where do we get the physical exam done? Does the school require a specific place? or can it be completed by my primary health care provider?

Hi!! To my knowledge they can be done anywhere they just have to fill out the physical form, Im getting mines done at my primary too
