Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!
Not sure just email Nicole and see what she says. I don't know if they'll be doing another one. I know the advisor once told me (but this was for those that received a late acceptance due to them waiting for people to defer) that they would bring u in to have private meeting. However remember that means everyone else will have already registered for classes by the time they sit with u and give u codes u need to register
Hey everyone!!! Happy Friday!! Soooo.....here's a little trick for you guys, since open enrollment started today if you log on and put in all the courses for our first semester you can see all the dates and times for our classes. Now, SOME professors have already been assigned so you can check out their rating on Ratemyprofessor.com, but not all professors are on yet. A lot of the classes say TBA. Now, you can NOT register for classes obviously cause we have to wait for after orientation when they email us the codes but at least you can get an idea of the times for the classes and what days. (not to mention checking out the professor) Our classes for the first semester are:
HSC1149
MTB1370
NUR1020 & 1020L
NUR1210 & 1210L
Happy hunting!! Have a good weekend!
Chrisieefaith it's up to u. Some people can't afford not to work it's a personal decision. I will not be working the first semester and after that I will decide on working part time.
Jmlinou yes don't freak out just yet! Lol! That for the RN generic program I don't know what the LPN to RN program classes are. So u would just look up the ones for u. :)
It's not recommended to work during the first two semesters. I can't even see when you would be able to except weekends.. and that's the time you need to study. So unless you can study at work I would strongly advise against it. Once you advance through the program things slow down in the sense of the amount of hours you have to physically be sitting in class, but the time commitment is the same with regards to studying. So if you're extremely good at time management then it can be done, but it just makes things harder. I personally would not be able to work during this program but everyone is different, there are people that do it.

Hey all I know many are asking about the defer process. Prior to submitting my app for the program I was informed by an Health Admissions advisors that they were not allowing students to defer their seat unless there was a medical issue, and documents as proof. Nevertheless, I would verify with an admissions advisor just in case.
