Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Any transition students on here still? Have u done the review skills sheets yet (the 6 hours) that we need done before 6/26? I'm gonna do my hours today and tomorrow, but was wondering if it is absolutely necessary to have another student to check off your skills...? I doubt this will get seen in time, buuuut just incase, i suppose :)

Yes we started the 6hr paper and it's due Monday. And it must be checked off by another student.

It's due Monday?? I thought the paper said Tues the 24th? Well I at least got 2 1/2 hours in today and most of my stuff checked off; i'll probably just do the rest tomorrow after class. See you tomorrooooowww!! :)

Hey guys is there a policy for nails? For example no acrylic etc.

I'm starting the nursing program in August.Can anyone tell me the name of math and pharmacology books so I can start looking around.thanks!

No acrylic nails, no nail polish on fingers

Pharm for nurses( blue book) 4th adams,

Dosage calculations a ratio proportion approach 3rd pickar

I am in a similar boat. I have a 2.9 and 89% hesi with only 5 points. I am so happy that we got a chance too, Congrats to you! Did you start in May? I am going for August start date.
