Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

How long was the orientation for central and north? I'm going to south and we have the orientation on Friday so I want to be mentally prepared for that lol.

My doctor didn't write the mm he just put negative for TB on the ppd slot

If you go back someone said they had to go back to their Dr's office because they did not write the mm. A negative result would be 0 mm.

Hey guys. Even though your thread was for the summer admission. I wanted to ask you if there's anyone out there who wants to start in August. I've already turned in my application with the $20 fee, so now im just waiting and hoping I'll get in.. fingers cross..

All these new editions and prices are ridiculous!!!!

Did you guys buy new ones are older versions?

The price difference is crazy too!!! example, Fundamentals of nursing 8th ed is $121 and the 7th ed is $.44 cents. *****

Do you know when we are supposed to get the stuff from our teacher on d2l to start practicing the skill sets? I can't remember what they said; only that we'll need to go to the lab and get stuff done before our class starts on the 20th.. I did hear that correct, right? ugh I'm so nervous. I'm gonna start brushing up on assessments I suppose.
