Broward College Nursing May 2014

Published

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Does anyone know if we have to wear our uniforms to the central campus orientation?

Hello all

Are we still supposed to get titers done for the Rubella, Rubeola and Varicella even if we have proof of immunizations?

I was told absolutely must have titers!

I called earlier, they said no. you dont need titers if you took the shots in the past 10 years. they'll tell you if they accept them.

Does anybody have a list of the books we're going to use? I wanna purchase my books on amazon, and i wanna get them early.

which campus did you call? South said they needed titers... That's great if you don't. I took both.

There's a list on the bookstore link on the broward college website.

At south we do. More than likely you'll have to.

I wish they would tell us if we have to at central so I can go buy them this weekend lol

If you're asking about central campus, We are not required to wear out uniform during orientation. First day of class (process 1 theory), we have to wear the blue polo with the logo. I was at campus yesterday and I asked but you can call them to make sure

Does anyone know where to buy dansko's other than online? I would like to try them on somewhere before dropping $100 on a pair of shoes
