Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?
I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.
Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)
South said you can use the dansko professional clog. It has a back. I saw lots of girls wearing them. Those are all white but you have to break them in. When in doubt, ask. :) the uniform store is the only place I found all white.
Ok, well thats the difference then. If they have a back, that's fine. But actual "clogs" dont have backs, or just like the little strap on the back, which some people mistakenly buy. Are those things really that comfortable?? I mean they have to be right? EVERYBODY has them. And they're sooo expensive!!! I think i'll just find some all white sneakers somewhere

I really want a pair of all white Nike Shox all leather. Every website I try is out of date. Anyone have any idea where I can purchase them from?
Does the lab work get sent directly to the school? I didn't get a drug screening receipt...how do I get it?
The school sent you to quest diagnostics right? When your going home they give a tiny piece of paper with your name etc on it that's your receipt
Sent from 'her' iPhone using allnurses ???
Hey all, where did you get your BLS done? I just looked on BC's registration and there are no openings. I am really stressing out over this. I am registered on CEUfast.com where I am doing Domestic Violence, HIV/AIDS, and Prevention of Medical Errors, and I also signed up for the TB/OSHA/Hepatitis class from BC but that doesn't seem to start/become available until 4/28. Depending on which campus I decide to go to, that is cutting it really close with deadlines. Any help from you guys would be really appreciated.
When you took the TB/OSHA/Hepatitis at BC, did you get to print the certificate right away? Or how soon did you get your certificate?

you can do classes at CEUFast.com but their breakdown for courses has different names and hours for some
Aid/HIV 4 hours
Domestic violence 2 hours
Prevention of Medical Errors 2 hours
Hep C: Beyond the Basic 2 hours
Infection Control and Barrier Prec. 4 hours
Tuberculosis 2 hours
Osha: Exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens 1 hour
I brought these certificates to the Nursing Dept on Central and the Executive Assistant reviewed them and said they were the right ceu's
