Broward College Nursing May 2014

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

I also just got my all white Dansko xp's from Galleria Mall. They definitely need some getting used to! I am mostly used to wearing regular sneakers or running shoes which are very flexible and bendy.. Dansko's not so much. But I can totally get why people rave about these things. I feel very "supported". I hope I got the right size.. I was debating between the 37 and 38 (they run by European sizing).

I purchased 37 but I purchased the Professional not the XP. I didnt see those. The shoe was a bit snug on the top of my left foot. I put on some thick socks and I wear them all around the house. I boxed them up to return as they felt snug but my friend told me to just keep wearing them. I wore them while mopping and cleaning this week and they have really stretched out. (no slipping) I leave them out so when I get home I swap shoes. THey are much better now. They feel great on your feet.

Oh no! You're making me want to go back to exchange them now. I walked around in them in the store and the 37 was a bit too snug. The lady who worked there told me that they will stretch out wider but not longer, so I went with the 38 even though my feet already go up and down in those (she also said this was normal with the clog style, that they just added the back so that health care workers could wear them) so idk. I would rather have them a tiny bit too big than too small. I guess I will walk around the house with them the next couple of days and see.

Accept a loan or apply for one? Did you go through all the "steps" on BC's website?

You have to log in

go to the financial aid tab then choose awards there should be a button there

It's a process. You have to go to broward financial aid page and click additional forms of aid. Then you have to complete the steps one which is to do online loan forms on the federal fafsa site plus attend the debt management workshop if it's your first time applying for a loan at broward college.

Hey does anyone have the code that we are supposed to input for the online criminal background check? I remember they told us to correct it at the orientation. I just want to make sure I input the correct one.
