Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Humm ok I hope see you there, I will be the one that literally look scared heheheeh and if they decide to give us exams in the same day lol... But not too bad that Math is just in the first month... Ok Thank you naymed for your answer and support I was freaking out lol

Just realized my schedule changed as well, luckily I have the monday math class. But still very frustrating that they would change it and not give anyone any warning!!! I spent my first 2 years of school as UCF so I'm still figuring BC out but could any of you tell me if BC does finals on different days/times than the actual class? Also are there specific shoes that we need or they just need to be all white?

Hey Emilymalka I asked during our first meeting about the shoes, and they didn't give me any specific name, but "it must be white" was the only words about the shoes. I bought Dansko because a nurse friend of mine told me she uses it at hospital and it is very comfortable, so I didn't want to put my feet at risk.

About the schedule I did Micro and A&PII together and I had basically all my exams at the same day (theory MCB & BSC together/Labs together), but the time for the finals usually was about 30min before the normal time

Hey guy I tried my Dansko at Uniform Advantage in Sawgrass Mills, then I bought it online (Zappos)

I don't know if any of you had the same problem that I do now, but for some reason my schedule was changed online after I applied on April 17th, I had my NUR1020 Theory on Mondays & Fridays, Pharmaco & Math on Thursday, now my schedule show up with NUR1020 on Mondays & Thursdays, instead of 2 classes on Thursday now I have 3 classes on the same day and helloooo it is summer (short time) I'm going crazy now, :( I cannot take 3 exams in the same day like that OMG, I wrote Nicole then she told me to write Theresa from admissions, I did it now lets see what is going on with my schedule :(

Is anyone in the same situation?

Thank God my scholarship came through classes are fully paid for and enough left over for books! I am elated right now because I was really concerned about the money aspect of this all. Now I can finally get my uniforms

So my status was accepted and now it changed to pre program application? I already turned in all my paperwork is that what it means?

Goodluck to all. Summer can be very tough, but is doable. The math is only 3 weeks and it's a very easy math. 10 questions in 1 hour. You can start practicing for the math test. This website can be very helpful

Did you do a re-entry application? If you did, you may want to contact health science admissions so they can fix it.

Did you do a re-entry app to the college? That happened to me. It wipes out the health science stuff. Contact health science admissions. they will fix it.

Never mind I called them I don't know why it would have changed because I didn't need a re entry app I've been attending broward. But Nichole fixed it for me, she's quick through email for those who call and aren't having any luck
