Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Thank God my scholarship came through classes are fully paid for and enough left over for books! I am elated right now because I was really concerned about the money aspect of this all. Now I can finally get my uniforms

That's great! When did you apply for the scholarship? I applied last week on Thursday and still nothing? Did you go to the financial aid office to fill the application?

I just finished one of the ceu online on D2L, I though It will allow me to print it once I'm done, but it did not. I'm looking at this message which state that I have to pick it up at central campus, and it can take approximately 2 weeks!!!!!! tell me this is not true. Anybody who did theirs online at BC please let me know.:crying2:

I did it in person at the north campus office last week and yesterday it got approved. I was told it would come in time to cover the classes before the deadline so keep watching!

There is a scholarship opening may 1 on the broward college site.

I was told those are for Fall semester that's why I had to go in person.

Hey congrats!! Very good!! Quick question did you have the FAFSA filled before it? Or it was independently of that? Because I called them and they said I have to wait they will come to talk with us about it in class after the first term is done lol

after orientation I went and added them to my fafsa for 2013-2014, once the financial aid office received it I went in and told them that I was in the nursing program and needed a scholarship and that they were closed online, maybe luck or whatever but the supervisor was there and gave me a form for a specific scholarship and I filled it out in site and typed up a statement and attached it. A week later I saw that I was awarded. I was told the deadline for scholarship apps for summer was closed online that's why I went in person(get more done that way at BC lol) also make sure you have them added to the fafsa for 2014/2015 because those scholarships open May 1st!

Yeah I believe it contains all the paperwork we will be filling out. When I turned in all my documents the last told me I needed to buy it
