Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

I brought my uniform today too and I scheduled my physical for April 8th after orientation. Does anyone know what we have to bring to orientation with us? I cannot wait to find out all the information in orientation. Also does anyone know when we can register for classes? I have so many questions lol. I also want to find out if I can get a loan because I have been paying out of pocket for my classes and once I start school in May I will no longer be working so the money I saved up has to go to bills.

How much did the scrubs cost?

How much did the scrubs cost?

I paid $20 for each item, and I bought two sets, basically $40 for set, in addition I bought 1 lab coat the nursing one $30

Expensive is a relative term, so don't know what prices you've seen. But Paramount training is 49 dollars no book or equipment needed. AHA BLS CPR program went through it a week ago.

cprflorida was like 65... Not too bad. It is a long course and I doubt you will find it much cheaper. If you found bls for 49 that is great.

Hey anyone do the online back ground check? did they contact your employer ? I currently work at the place I listed and I would hate for them to contact them and tell them what it's for before I get to put my 2 week notice in lol
