Broward College Nursing May 2014

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Hello everyone. I started august 2013 and I will start my first rotation this march. Everything is doable as long as you keep on your readings and practice your skills. I was once in your shoes once and wanted to go to north because of the positive things I've heard, but since I am closer to central I decided i would go to central instead. It turns out central is not as bad as other students made it to be. Goodluck everyone!!!

Hey BCRN2015 could you tell us which chapters should we start to read from Fundamentals of Nursing by Potter?

Have you guys finished or taken all the necessary certifications? For example the HIV/AIDS or BLS?

Yeah I already did all my certifications because it was included in my health career core class that I took at Sheridan. Don't we also have to get a physical too?

Yes I did it at Sheridan too, and all my certifications were sent with my application

This is honestly taking forever which tells me that they probably do not have enough applicants, which in turn is great for all of us lol.
