Hey everyone!
This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Good luck everyone!!
I hope she replies soon!...I have been looking for this class for awhile now...When I remembered about it this semester, the class had already started.
She emailed me this morning. She said she hopes to teach the class in the beginning of December and she will email me when she has more information.
Hey Everyone,
Congratulations on the acceptance into the program! I'm so anxious to start but at the same time scared. This won't be an easy journey over the 18 months. I'm sure we will all do great though. Just remember to stay focused and determined, and always remember when times get tough, which it will, to keep your head up and keep reaching for the one goal we all set out to get...Becoming the best Nurse that we can be :) Good luck to everyone

Hey just went to orientation and really worried about the campus i want to attend being full!!! (NORTH) I currently moved to Palm Beach so it would almost be immpossible to attend any other campus thats why im getting a little paranoid about that. No offense, but are you guys aware that there is a campus (CENTRAL) very close to the both of you?

I'm very aware central campus is closer to me, but I prefer North Campus for personal reasons. Sorry that you may be paranoid with your situation, but everyone has a fair chance at the campus they would like to attend. I wish you all the best.

BCstudent0105...I understand..I too am worried as I would like to attend central..Central is closest to me and its more affordable for me to attend it...I hope we all get to go to our preferred campus...Congrats and good luck to all.
I'm sure everyone will get the campus of their liking, just be positive and good things will happen for all of us. Even if I don't get my first choice, North Campus, I'm just grateful that I got into the program considering that 1000 students applied. I will drive an hour if I had to, because I worked very hard to get to this point and I'm sure everyone else did to. Just follow the procedure they gave us in orientation for registration and you will get your seat. Don't start worrying now because this is the least of our worries. I have a friend that just graduated and passed her NCLEX and gave me great advice so trust me when I say this is the least of worries, considering that she told me we start with about 75-80 students in the first semester and it will probably dwindle down to around 30-40 students by the second semester, since this was the situation that happened with her class and the other campuses. I'm not trying to scare anyone, but this is the reality we will be faced with, so don't sweat the little stuff and I'm sure the dean and counselors will work with your situation, because they did say under certain circumstances they will help us. Plus the great thing about our program is that we have an online class. So stay positive and we all get through every obstacle that is thrown our way. We will all do great! I wish everyone the best of luck.:yeah:
:yeah:
when everyone logs on and tries to register can they see what classes are available? I just logged in and it wouldnt even let me see which teachers are teaching what classes...
I am freaking out now because one of my certification courses is on 11/19 however south campus deadline is 11/17.... I want to go to central but in case I do not get to go to that campus what am i supposed to do
