Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Published

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Are we supposed to do CAE0644 "Florida Laws and Rules for Nursing and Respiratory Care" as well? I'm trying to get my ceus done, but for this particular class, some already started and the others are all the way in December at Broward.

Yes, you need it.

Choose the one for December. It will be available on your D2L same day. Those dates don't matter.

Jhonore2: Are you getting your ceus done on ceufast or are you taking them at BC?

MariposaLPN or anyone who knows lol : Is it ok to take them before the orientation?

I completed some already on CEUFast. I was just confused on that course. Also I'll be taking the CPR class this Sunday @ BC.

Alright, thanks!

Hello, I am new to this site. I'm hoping to make the Jan 2015 application deadline. I was told that there were still spots open so I'm trying my hardest. I've already completed all my pre-req's. I took the Hesi today and I passed everything but A&P. I feel so discouraged. I'm going to retake it on Monday. I feel like the A&P section was so random. I studied from the elsevier hesi admission assessment exam review book (which I personally feel didn't help), and I also used quizlet. So if anyone could give me some tips on what you did to pass the anatomy section that would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if you have the lab book for A and P 1. If you don't , just go over each chapter. Most of the hesi exam is from A and P 1. The ones from 2 are obvious. You can do it. Just don't think too much and Believe in yourself....

Yes. I would do them as soon as possible to get them out of the way. I've completed all of them and it feels good to know that's one less thing to worry about :)

You can also use this website they have som review for A&P ( Study Stack). Flashcards about HESI-A2 ANATOMY

I do not have the lab book anymore, but I will def go back over each chapter again. Thanks for the encouraging words!

Yes it's fine. It's recommended that you take CEUs as soon as you are able to. :)

I have my orientation at 1pm too!
