Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Glad I can help. Don't be discouraged, everyone gets nervous around this time. The worst they can say at this point is seats are filled (it's still early so I doubt they'll say that) and you still shouldn't be discouraged because that just puts you at the top of the list for the May term :)

Oh and another thing you can turn your application into any campus, that doesn't mean you have to attend that campus (we will receive an email with the codes from all the campuses to pick our classes and at that time you will choose your campus). All you need to submit is your application and Hesi scores(whenever you take the test). You don't need to turn in a copy of your HCP certificate until the campus you choose gives you a due date and that is when you'll turn in the hcp certificate and all the other certificates (you can find them on the previous page of this thread). Hopefully this isn't too confusing!

Hi guys I just found out about this tread, I'm very happy to say I got the Pre-admission status on my online broward application.

I'm hoping to see if others got the same message and if so what does that exactly mean?

We will receive emails from each campus (Central, North, and South) and each email will have the reference codes to choose our classes. Depending on the campus you'd like to attend just refer back to that email and choose your classes using the reference codes for that specific campus.

I hope my wording isn't confusing lol

It will be discussed in the Pre-Admission orientation though so no worries :)
