Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Published

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

Hey guys, quick question about CEU's.. Do they need to be done before starting the program? If so.. it doesn't make sense as the certificates last only 2 years and the program takes 2 years to complete. Anyone know about this??

They must be taken before. Some are good for 4-6 years. CEUfast is $30 annually and allows you to complete as many certifications as you want. It's not bad since they're all pretty simple.

Orientation should be shortly after the e-mail invite so maybe end of this week or next week! Can't wait!

lilshortigrl24 I put in my application last Wed the 24th! Kind of last minute too

August term orientation was 20 days days after acceptance letters went out. I also was also told today that they would go out tomorrow..i hope they stick to it! I wanna celebrate already!

Today is the day guys and gals!! I can feel it in my bones lol...

Good morning all. It's a new day of waiting! Will it end today? Hint: CHECK YOUR EMAILS!!! I GOT MINES :D

Yayyy can't wait to go on break (at work and can't check my email lol) thanks for the heads up!

When is your orientation? Some of us will have different times.

You're awesome!!! I took your advice and turned in my application yesterday I pushed up my date for the test as well, the lady in the nursing dept told me something about them stopping on October 15. But anyways I'm cramming for the HESI now lol thanks again...

Great!!! That's my birthday:woot: lol. But don't get too worked up on the HESI after you take it you'll be like "oh that wasn't so bad after all" focus on the anatomy that's the section most people (including myself) failed; the questions are so darn random.

October 10th @ 9am

Wow that's next Friday, so soon! Oh well, the earlier the better..
