Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

I am looking to apply for Jan 2015 as well, but I am so behind :( Can I submit my app prior to taking the HESI

No I'm sorry; you would have to take the HESI before and turn it in with your application.

Thanks, I haven't gotten the application yet, can you give me any pointers on what I may need to do prior to submitting it? I have all of my prereqs I am scheduled to take the hesi next month, hopefully it is not too late. I am going to the central campus because I can never seem to get someone on the phone to answer anything for me.

Well, I would suggest to apply to a different campus if you have the opportunity; I've heard better things about North Campus. Also, just make sure you have the Health Career Course Certificate, and make a copy of that to turn it in as well. Speak to Nicole Howell in Central Campus for your application process.
