Hi! I know it's pretty early to start a thread for fall but I just wanted to see somewhat of what other people have in their classes and HESI. I have to retake the anatomy portion of the test but everything else I passed, and I have a GPA of 3.18. Also, I was in another nursing program before this and didn't do so well because of what was going on in my life during that time. Do you think this will be a big issue regarding getting in??
Thank you very much for the insight. I will either choose her or Khan for Microbiology. I'm trying to find the total number of questions for each section on the HESI A2 given by Broward College and I cannot find it, do you remember the breakdown?I hope you get into the RN program and do well.
And for the hesi I got 30 questions in the anatomy section. 50 questions in the other 4 sections. You get 4 hours I believe.
Hey no problem, fundamentals of nursing by Perry and potter 9th edition I believe is the latest. You can always rent it from Amazon for $20 which makes me think a new edition is probably coming out for the fall which will probably be in the bundle they'll offer u. So if u want to read ahead, that would be the best way and I definitely recommend doing it. You can start reading infection prevention n control, vital signs, health assessment and physical assessment, patient safety, activity and exercise, hygiene, that's all I remember for now
Hey! Thank you for all the info you provided about the program! Do you happen to have the syllabus for Process I. I took your advice and rented the textbook, but I wanted to look at it to see a sample of what is expected and what topics are covered during Process I so I can start reviewing. Also, is there anywhere to find samples on how questions are formatted for the nursing program exams? Are questions in the textbook similar or are they completely different.

Don't take khan, I'm taking him right now. He makes it hard to pass the class. Most people get C's, D,s, or F's on his exams. He teaches Microbiology like it's our major.
