I was able to get 7 new books from Amazon for $230!!

What books did you buy?

I thought we had to buy only 5 book.......could you post just in case im missing something. The fundamental of nursing includes how many series? We have to buy the book and the clinical guide, do we also need the skills check list?

these were the books i got for nur 1

1. castillo (nur1020) strategies, techniques, and approaches to thinking: case studies in clinical nursing, 4th . ed.

2. jarvis (nur1020) pocket companion for physical examination/health assessment, 5th ed with ebook.

3. newfield(nur1020) cox clinical applications of nursing diagnosis & intervention, 5th ed.

4. perry and potter (nur1020) fundamentals of nursing 7th ed. with study guide and clinical companion and ebook

5. perry and potter (nur1020) clinical nursing skills & techniques, 7th ed with ebook

i got these 2 just because i heard they were good books to help with test taking skills

6. nugent et. al fundamental success

7. nugent et. al. test success: test taking techniques for beginning nursing students 4th .ed.

i didnt bother to get the math book or the pharm book becaue everything is straight from his notes.

I am heading to the bookstore tomorrow to check out the books. I just got my pants today....All I am missing are ALL these books! I hope it's not too much.

so i just got back from south campus and they dont have any uniform bottoms! theyre either really small or really big. does north have any??? Also, what kind of bookbag is everyone buying?? and lastly, what is it that the professor said we needed to buy from the bookstore, a packet with the modules? i looked today but i didnt find anything

I went to the South Campus book store today and right as I was getting all the books I needed they had a bomb threat! The evacuated the whole school!! Crazy. I guess I must go back tomorrow.

Stephy04: I got mine at All Uniform Wear. I called and they had my size in petite. They also have them online at various stores. Remember Cherokee workwear brand royal blue. I got the draw string.

I was at South Campus when that happened too! I wasnt even allowed to drive into the school. I got my pants from Uniform City on University and McNab. I was thinking about getting a bookbag with wheels on it but I'm not sure.

Oh yeah, and the modules we dont need to buy for NUR 1. They'll be available for us to print off line; I think the week before school starts.

I got myself a Jansport with wheels...I have had it for a while now. I look like a dork in school but it is a load off my back. I am even considering getting a bigger one. Depending on what we have to carry everyday. It is getting close.
