Broward College May 2018

Published

Hi guys!! Haven't seen any threads for May 2018 so I figured why not start one!! I just submitted my application for Broward's May 2018 LPN-RN program so anxiously waiting for the deadline. While I wait I'm attending Keiser to retake A&P 1 and lab to boost grade up! What's everyone doing to pass the time?

Thanks!!! Because I literally just checked before I logged on here lol. Enjoy the rest of your day!!!

The councelor said they were going to try to have an answer before feb ends but she said it might take longer :/

You're welcome! I know its stressful waiting for a decision. But don't add the extra stress by checking a million times a day (I know its hard! I was like that when I was waiting for my admissions decision for school lol)

The app period just ended on the 15th. We have thirty business days to make our decisions. We are trying to get them out as quick as possible.

Thanks ndrullard! It's like an involuntary reaction at this point. The SENSIBLE part of me is saying "Relaaaaxx Lee, be patient!" but then the I NEED TO KNOW RIGHT NOW part of me is like "Siiike!" LOL

Thanks for putting us at ease :)

Another day has passed and I only checked 2x lol. I hope this month goes by as quick as it came. I've seen from other threads that people find a way to relax by taking trips or going on cruises before the major change lol. I think I'm going to find my zen haha!!!

Hey guys! I am a proudly retracting BC nursing student. I wanted to inform you that a FB group has been created, please feel free to join (Broward College Nursing May 2018).

I will try my best to have all of your questions answered. And will also post as much info as possible.

Cool thanks, do you mind sharing which class you retracted in? Also what do you think you could have done differently to not be in the same position the next go around?

You should do it! We're taking a trip to Colorado to go skiing soon...I can't wait. I'll be focused on preparing everything for that trip, so that should help distract me for right now. But also, if I get accepted I don't really expect that I'll have much time for a vacation after that so now is the time lol. Also, thankfully we live in Florida so any time you need some zen you could just lay out at the beach for a few hours. Relaxation at its finest!

I still don't even have points yet so I'm super anxious. I know they have 30 days but this wait is killer. I'm also going to Colorado the second weekend of March. Last chance to really get away. Does anyone know about financial aid for the program? Like does it come through in time for the program so I can limit what I pay out of pocket?

I'm not really sure how they do the financial aid but I submitted the application online already so there wouldn't be any problems as for as processing. I decided to go to Texas the second weekend in March. So to be somewhat spontaneous I booked a flight lol. Then instantly regretted it because I said what if that's the week or day they have the orientation. Lol my mind is all over some times lol

Also don't stress about the points they'll update. When did you turn in your application?
