Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

I'm also looking to retake a&p to get a highter grade, I don't know if I'll be applying to May the fact that it's fast paced scares me I want to do the full program at normal pace.

Hello Everyone,

Just here to share my journey and hopefully encourage someone who may be going through the same thing.

I applied to start August 2016 with a GPA of 2.6. I didn't get accepted. I retook Anatomy & Physiology at Kaiser University online

and it cost me $2500. I received a B and that put my GPA at 3.0. I reapplied to start this previous semester January 2017 and was not accepted. I will now be retaking English which I have a B in and Anatomy 2 which I have a B in to hopefully get A's in both to raise my GPA to 3.64. I will be taking them at University of Pheonix which is cheaper than Keiser. They are approximately $1400 a class or $410 per credit hour depending on the class you decide to retake. Unlike Keiser they offer discounts depending on where you may currently be employed and for other affiliations. They are accredited as well and the classes are offered online just like they were at Keiser. I was really sad about not being accepted twice, but i am not defeated! I know that the race is not given to the swift and neither to the strong but to the one who endures until the end. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I know that it will all be on God's divine timing. I prayed that God will be done and that I am able to accept whatever he has planned for me. I normally don't post much on the blog but this term I will keep you all motivated and informed on my journey. If anyone is interested in the information of the Admission Representative from Pheonix who assisted me this morning let me know and I will be more than happy to share!. God Blessings to you all.

That's a big difference in price! If you can please let us know if they are 4 weeks like keiser that would be great. That price is a bit more in my budget! Hopefully it's a 4 weeks class too so we can make the deadline for May term.

Nichole do you know if BC accepts credits from University of Phoenix like they do for Keiser?

I wouldn't let that scare you. I just hope this could be it. I've been through so many obstacles and I won't let this being fast pace be one of them.

Yes. Just be sure the course you take is equivalent to BC's courses. You can check with academic advising to ensure the course will transfer in.

The classes are 5 weeks online. And with my job affiliation they offered me a discount. My English class is now only $760 and my Anatomy class is 1008. That so much better than what I paid at Keizer. I paid $2500 for one class. Now I'm going to take 2 class for less money í ½í²°. You can Ane d me a direct message and I will give you the Reps name and contact informatio for anyone who is interested.

i can't wait to get my application in guys and get this process over with lol :arghh:

I keep asking qts. I'm sorry guys. How long do you have to way if you do not pass one section of the Hesi? Can you re take it the following week?

I think it's 48 hours

Hey did you find out if the classes are transferrable and equivalent ?

Yes Nichole stated they were if it is equivalent to Broward courses.

Ok because I heard that it wasn't going to transfer over and be considered an equivalent retake and I would rather go to University of Phoenix because it is significantly cheaper than Keiser. I'm kind of stuck now I am unsure what to do....
