Broward college May 2012

Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

So, I took the Hesi exam anatomy section, and I must say it is much easier at broward than fau! I remember most of the questions and there weren't any that you couldn't find in the hcp book. I got an 80% on it and I didn't study much out of my anatomy book.

Good for you...an 80% is not bad at all. How many questions per time limit was allowed for that section?

@ Juliansmom - When I took the HESI there were only 30 questions for the A&P section which to me is the most intimidating part because if you miss just a few questions your done on that section. The other sections they give you about 55 questions and the total amount of time given for the test is 4 hours.

@ LovelyB09 - Will you be submitting your application before the deadline? If so, which campus are you hoping to attend?

Hello Prayin2barn!

I'm new to this site so I just wanted to say hello to some fellow prospects for May 2012. Did you already submit your application? If so, have you been awarded points yet? I turned mine in the day grades were posted and I'm anxiously waiting for the deadline to approach so decisions can start being made. I was awarded 11 points (10 = 3.4 gpa, 1 = Broward resident). I will admit I am VERY nervous that it won't be enough to get accepted, but I am trying to keep the faith. Good luck to you and everyone else applying!!!

Finally my points have been updated, 14!!!! Now I'm excited.

Congrats SugarBianca!!! I have no doubt about your acceptance. Now the fun part of waiting!!!!!! I just want to know already!!!! Lol

BTW... Does anyone know how many campuses are accepting for this May? It seems like North was the only one last summer and I didn't know if it changed this year.

I'm actually submitting my application in today, so I hope to know how many points I was awarded soon :) I would really like to attend the central campus , but I never really figured out what campus they are having it at. Isn't the deadline the 15th?

Juliansmom-

Since I only had to take that section over again I still had the total four hours or something like that but it only took me maybe ten minutes. I would maybe take the math or reading part first because those seem to take the longest and leave the anatomy part for when you have the most time.

@Hope2bPicuRN They are accepting students for May at north and Central this year.

From what you have heard, which one is the best campus in terms of help fron professors?

I will be taking my Hesi test on Monday so nervous about the vocabulary part, if I pass, hopefully I do, I will be submitting the application the same day.

Any advice? wish me luck!!!!!

Will keep u posted!
