Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)
So, I took the Hesi exam anatomy section, and I must say it is much easier at broward than fau! I remember most of the questions and there weren't any that you couldn't find in the hcp book. I got an 80% on it and I didn't study much out of my anatomy book.
Good for you...an 80% is not bad at all. How many questions per time limit was allowed for that section?

@ Juliansmom - When I took the HESI there were only 30 questions for the A&P section which to me is the most intimidating part because if you miss just a few questions your done on that section. The other sections they give you about 55 questions and the total amount of time given for the test is 4 hours.
@ LovelyB09 - Will you be submitting your application before the deadline? If so, which campus are you hoping to attend?

Hello Prayin2barn!
I'm new to this site so I just wanted to say hello to some fellow prospects for May 2012. Did you already submit your application? If so, have you been awarded points yet? I turned mine in the day grades were posted and I'm anxiously waiting for the deadline to approach so decisions can start being made. I was awarded 11 points (10 = 3.4 gpa, 1 = Broward resident). I will admit I am VERY nervous that it won't be enough to get accepted, but I am trying to keep the faith. Good luck to you and everyone else applying!!!
Juliansmom-
Since I only had to take that section over again I still had the total four hours or something like that but it only took me maybe ten minutes. I would maybe take the math or reading part first because those seem to take the longest and leave the anatomy part for when you have the most time.
