Broward College May 2011

Anyone else palnning on applying for May 2011. Im currently in the process of transferring back to broward and I am planning on applying for May. I have all my pre-reqs done and I already took and passed the HESI, and I also have HOSA so I think I may be in a good position(fingers crossed). I just need to take Micro & I plan on taking that in the winter term. If anyone can recommend a teacher I would greatly appreciate it.

I just got all my physical work finished today. Doing the drug test and finger printing tomorrow. Then all i need is to do my stuff on ceufast and get cpr certified. May is going to be here before we know it i cant wait

Has anyone been able to get an answer on the # of scrubs needed or the lab coat required?

A friend told me two sets are enough. At least to start. If you feel like you need more you can alway get more. The lab coat Ian required unless you get cold. Then you have to use theirs.

Does anyone know which books are absolutely necessary from the list ? Also, how strict is Central campus on sneakers ? I understand that they need to be all white, but do they require a specific brand, look ? Thanks

I am just making sure. Because i am reading some of these responses and some say they got an email. I was told emails haven't been sent out yet by the health admission dept. for the rn transition. Thanks for responding.

I clicked on the bookstore link and the books they have listed there are edition 8..I think Im going to go in there and find out!:)

Has anyone completed the online background check? Once you put in the code, a review page opens and says to fax them a release form if you have not already done so. Has anyone done this? And how do you find the release form they want? I don't remember them mentioning anything about faxing the company a release form during orientation, they only stressed to make sure you print the confirmation page.

Congratulations!! Are you taking Micro at Central this semester? I'm pretty sure there is an N. Charles in my lecture class, I have prof B Tues/Thurs.
