Broward College May 2011

Anyone else palnning on applying for May 2011. Im currently in the process of transferring back to broward and I am planning on applying for May. I have all my pre-reqs done and I already took and passed the HESI, and I also have HOSA so I think I may be in a good position(fingers crossed). I just need to take Micro & I plan on taking that in the winter term. If anyone can recommend a teacher I would greatly appreciate it.

Has anyone completed the online background check? Once you put in the code, a review page opens and says to fax them a release form if you have not already done so. Has anyone done this? And how do you find the release form they want? I don't remember them mentioning anything about faxing the company a release form during orientation, they only stressed to make sure you print the confirmation page.

I did the background check. I think you only need to fax the form if you do not give them an electronic signature or verification.

I signed it electronicaly. There was an option to do so after I completeed the back ground check.

Congratulations!! Are you taking Micro at Central this semester? I'm pretty sure there is an N. Charles in my lecture class, I have prof B Tues/Thurs.

Thanks. You too! Yes I am in pro. B class on Tues./Thurs. @9:30. I seriously hope I pass this class. It would be one less thing to worry about while I am in program. Do you know what campus you will be attending? I am hoping to get into the North campus because it's closer to my job and house. Again CONGRATS!!!!

You do all the paper work, including the back ground check, after you apply AND are accepted.

Is anyone taking the CEU's online? I'm taking the CPR class this weekend, but I need to take the rest of them and I'm having a hard time registering. I called the number they gave us at orientation, but have yet to get through. Are all of them besides the CPR class offered online? Are there any other options for taking online CEU's that will be accepted by Broward?

You can go to this website: ceufast.com. You pay $29 for unlimited CEUs courses. I am actually doing two of them right now. When you are done with the course, you can print your certificate right there. It is very easy to register. Also, Broward College accepts these CEU's.

Just to be sure- ALL of the CEUs on the list, except BLS, are offered and may be taken online through CEUfast.com?

Yep, I did all of my CEUs that are on the list on ceufast.com last week
