Anyone else palnning on applying for May 2011. Im currently in the process of transferring back to broward and I am planning on applying for May. I have all my pre-reqs done and I already took and passed the HESI, and I also have HOSA so I think I may be in a good position(fingers crossed). I just need to take Micro & I plan on taking that in the winter term. If anyone can recommend a teacher I would greatly appreciate it.

I bought the two books by Nguyen, Jarvis, The Perry and potter books, the study guide, the clinical companion, The Newfield book, and the castillo book.

Do we need the ebooks? Im trying to buy all this stuff online (which I have never done before) and just about everything has ebooks requirements!! this is prob. a silly question but I have no idea!!

Did anyone signup for online math. I'm signed up but a little scared on taking it online. Has anyone heard anything about the math classes

I have a question about the link u posted.. I was looking at that and then i went to another link posted by the school, i noticed that most of the books were changed from 7th edition to 8th edition.. do u know if that makes a big difference? Im worried about wasting time and money on books that i might not be able to use!??

What other link did you find with the updated editions? The only I have found was this one..http://webhome.broward.edu/~gbrickma/Calendars/Nursing%20Program%20BOOKLIST%20AY%202010%202011-North.pdf... I also don't want to waste money

Yes, I did! I am trying to figure out if I should start trying to buy books online based on the North list or if I should wait until orientation and go from there.

How is your paperwork coming along?

Has anyone been able to get an answer on the # of scrubs needed or the lab coat required?

I just calledthe nursing department at North this morning and they said we can use the list that is currently on the website to buy books and that there are not going to change before classes start.
