Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

The book list is on your schedule. When you click on view schedule you can also click on buy books for this schedule and it will tell you all this is required.

We know but that doesn't mean they use all the books on there listed.

Yes, very true. I was thinking that it was too many books listed lol. Well orientation for North is tomorrow so hopefully we find out then [emoji4]

Not sure what campus you go to but I turned mine in last week in central.

it will tell you on the online bookstore what books are required for each course.

north dean said we needed to get the current editions, not prior.

I would think we would need most all of the books required. I emailed my professors as well about the books.

Quick question with the background check. Do we just turn in the results or is there more we have to do to finish the background check? Because on the paper stating how we have to organize our portfolios it says we have to have the background check certification, but mine is still empty. Help please :/

Just the confirmation page. I turned in mine on Friday @ central.

Yes we can. I turned mine in last week. They will give you a copy of a paperwork checklist as a confirmation.
