Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

So I guess I have to wait til Friday huh? lol. Everyones application still say in review?

Hello,

You seem very knowledgeable. Do you know if it is too late to submit my application for May 2016. I will be retaking the hesi tomorrow 3/2/16. I took the hesi without studying to get a feel for it. I failed the math portion. I got 60% and I got a 76% on A&P. 80% and above for the other subjects.

Also, It will be almost 10 years that I took my prerequisites. Does Broward College accept prerequisite over 10 years? I just would like to know.

They are sending out acceptance letters on Friday so I am going to say go for it. Also, I don't think they look at how long ago you took the course as long as it was completed.

If I were you I would sit down with a health science advisor and make sure you have everything you need.. They are very helpful

We spoke about this (and it was posted earlier in this thread). If it is decided that the AD will accept more transition students, we will know after Spring Break.

You can submit the application, however, there is no guarantee it will be considered for this year's transition program.

I got shoes and a watch but that's about it. I'm rethinking the shoes though.

pretty sure most programs will not accept science courses that are 10 years old or older, due to advancements and changes made. if they're under 10 yrs old they should still be OK.
