Hey everyone!
I know it's a little early to start this but I just submitted my application yesterday and wanted to know if anyone else has submitted theirs yet.
I am looking to go to Central campus and I'm impatiently waiting to see if I have been accepted.
Heyyy, I'm applying to the program for January as well. I have a 3.4 gpa and took the hesi already.
My scores were: Math and grammar 78%, Reading 82% and Vocabulary 88%
Ive taken the anatomy portion 3 times and still didn't pass it yet. This time around I've got a tutor and I'm retaking it on the 25th. Has anyone else have the same problem with the anatomy part?
So happy this thread started because I was stalking the 2018 thread for quite awhile too ! I'm applying for the Jan 2019 pool and boy am I nervous. I'm scheduled to take the HESI 9/1 so I need all the help I can get to prepare for it so thank you for those links!
Also FYI Per HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAMS ADMISSIONS CRITERIA:
Right now we can take the HESI unlimited with no time frame in between but "Beginning Sept. 16, 2018, only 3 attempts per year will be allowed on theHESI exam and 30 days will be required between attempts."
AND
"Retakes for a better grade will no longer be considered starting with the January 2019 pool. The first successful attempt (Grade of A, B, or C) in ENC1101, BSC2085, BSC2085L, BSC2086, and BSC2086L will be used to calculate the admissions GPA"
I'm taking the anatomy portion this weekend. I passed the other parts on my first try. I used hesi assessment book, pocket prep, and I did practice tests. Unfortunately those didn't work for the anatomy part. There's only 30 questions for anatomy compared to the 50 you get for the other parts. I got a tutor this time around.

From what I've heard the program itself is hard but the summer terms are extremely hard because you have less time to complete the same amount of work compared to fall and spring. I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you know for SURE you can devote the time and effort it requires. That's why I'm I'm planning on attending the fall 2019 term
