Wow.. that is a little crazy...I would call again or show up there tomorrow and let them know what was going on.

What does you limited application status say? It should say pre-admission if you were sent that email.

So I finally spoke to someone after numerous and quite frankly obsessive phone calls to all the various numbers. As it turns out, tomorrow's meeting is for those students that applied in August and deferred their seats for January. As for us Jan 2011 applicants, emails are supposed to start going out October 15th.......Let's hope that's how it goes. Good luck everyone! : )

Trust me it was wayyyy worse last time around... that's why we applied for August and here we are now.. This orientation for us is wayyyy overdue!

Just got back from orientation! (Which lasted for about 4 hours). She said there are approximately 220 seats left for the Jan 2011 class and around 1,000 were eligible (that's ALOT of people).

Wow, thanks for asking. So, by "eligible", do you think she meant that those 1000 applicants passed the HESI and everything? I wonder if the 220 available seats include those that were already accepted and pushed from the August group. If so, there are even less seats available for first time applicants. This wait is driving me nuts!

No there are still 220 seats to be offered. We filled up about 80 seats.

Really....1000 eligible? That's alot! If you think about it though eligible could mean anyone with all of the qualifications. They could have one point and be eligible. Looks like its gonna be a tough one! Do you know if they are going to roll people to the next semester again if they have people that they want to accept, but the seats fill up?

They're probably not going to roll people over because that would essentially mean they are starting a precedent for a waiting list - what the point system was supposed to eradicate. But this is all speculation!

I am going absolutely crazy with the waiting! AHHHH!
