  1. THANK YOU, Sunraygirl, for always being so supporting and encouraging!!
  2. Hey guys, I never got the email sent from the math teacher. Can someone forward it to me? Edit: ok good! Thanks for making sure!
  3. Another question: is this the Cox textbook we need "Clinical Applications of Nursing Diagnosis: Adult, Child, Women's, Psychiatric, Gerontic, and Home Health Considerations (Clinical Applications of Nursing Diagnosis) Cox" - by Susan Newfield, et al. because that's the only one I'm finding on Amazon. Help!
  4. Does anyone know if we will need anything more than just the scrub top/bottom set? Like if we need the polo shirts or lab coat?
  5. I went to that Quest last week and they only gave me back a little slip of paper! Is that all we need to put in our folder?
  6. Hey Leah84! I was mad I didn't get your contact info!
  7. ralphigesbabe...did I meet you today at the finger-printing place? I feel like those missed connection ads on Craigslist LOL!
  8. The HESI A2 study guide by Evolve is exactly what you need for everything except A&P. For that, use your textbook. Every single vocabulary word I had was from the HESI study guide.
  9. Pre Admission????? What does that mean??
  10. They're probably not going to roll people over because that would essentially mean they are starting a precedent for a waiting list - what the point system was supposed to eradicate. But this is all speculation! I am going absolutely crazy with the waiting! AHHHH!
  11. Do you know who/where we go and talk to for discussing this? My points never posted either and I'd like to go tomorrow!
  12. AHH! I'm officially freaking out. My status still says PENDING DOCUMENTATION even though I have been called and assured they evaluated my transcripts and my application was ready to be reviewed! They have not even listed my points. Wow, this is a total Admissions FAIL. I will be so upset if I have to wait till May because of this! Anyway, wishing everyone the best! Let everyone know the moment you get accepted! We are living vicariously through you!
  13. Hello! I took the HESI today and am picking up my certificate from the HCP course at Sheridan Tech this week. After that it's off to hand in my application! WOOHOO!!! I do have some questions for the experts: who knows about deferring your seat? Anyone planning to wait to May if accepted? I feel like I remember reading that students who start in September & January get a longer summer break than those who start in May? Are there any other pros/cons for specific start semester? How long do we have to tell them if we want to defer? At the acceptance/pre-orientation meeting? Is that usually one month after deadline, say probably somewhere mid-to-end October? Also, anyone have an AP class for one of the pre-requisites? I spoke to someone over the phone who said they won't accept my ENC 1145 grade because it's Comp. II and not Comp. I. She said they do accept AP scores but she didn't tell me what the grade would be! Anyone have any insight on that? If you made it this far, THANK YOU!! And wishing everyone some major good luck for the January start class!!!
  14. Thanks for that thorough reply, elkpark! Exactly what I was looking for!
  15. Florida Career College in Boynton Beach was approved to start their RN class in August. How long does it take them to get accreditation? Are graduates allowed to sit for the NCLEX?
