Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Yes CHEM 1032 is required for the RN program...I just finished it & the lab last semester...wasn't too bad...Good luck to you! :)

Question to anyone out there...did you find out if you were accepted about a month after application deadline? I've applied for Aug. 2013, & this wait is freakin me out...Thanks for any info...Happy Memorial Weekend!

@dying2bRN check out the old posts from previous programs. I believe I saw one that said the deadline for Jan 2013 program was September 15, and it took almost a month before they told applicants that a seat is available for you. I'm not in the program yet, but I also had that question. In addition my friend who is now enrolled in the May 2013 program found out in Feb. (mid) and she applied by January 15. If that helps.

@Fearless_leader...thanks for the response. I spoke to someone in admissions & she said we should know by the weekend of June 14th...we shall see. When are you planning on applying?

It took me about a month before a found out.

Doing some last min. look over for our 1st test tomorrow. Good Luck!!!! We shall see if I got a hang of critical thinking and nursing process. Those of you that just applied, the waiting is crazy, but you will make it thru just hang in there :) Good Luck!

So Test #1 is down...waiting for grades. Return demo on Wednesday. Math Test #1 on Friday and Pharmacology Test #1 Monday after next....we are officially in it guys... How is everyone doing?
