Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm starting this thread for students looking to start(ing), and (or) finishing there pre's by spring of 2013 at Broward College. Also for those who are entering (or) looking to enter the Nursing Program in Fall 2013.

We are exactly one year away from this program. So tell me what classes are you taking or have left?

I have Fall Math Intermediate, A&P II lab only, and Computers (need 6 credits to get loans.) Winter College Algebra or Statistics and Chem 1032& Chem lab

Summer Microbiology and Micro Lab.

Yesterday I visted advisement at South, and when I was leaving I got a wake up call that now I will only live, eat, breath nursing school. I never felt this way before. Once me and my advisor went over my Education Plan I started to feel that school going to get harder. :idea: Hey I can do this and so can you.

Our orientation syllabus says we are to wear our nursing student ID badge. Is the our BC ID or do we need a separate ID indicating we are in the nursing program..also do we buy a holder from the bookstore or do they provide one.

BC ID. That's the only ID we'll have from BC

What study guides are you using to prepare for the Hesi? I intend to take it soon...Thanks

I took it at central and it waan't bad at all....long hours but the lecturers are very sweet and helpful.

You must have had the generic instructors because nobody in the transition program including myself believe they are sweet. She flunked A LOT of people with her nonsense.

Hi guys, I am currently considering going to Broward College to start taking my pre-reqs but this is my question. Are any of your pre-reqs avail online? I work fulltime and dont have a car :/ I'm pretty much decided this is what i want to do but wonderd if I cd do the pre reqs online. Thank you for ur help...

Yes. Prerequisites are available online. :)
