Not a nurse, but as someone who had a "cushy" corporate job and left it, because of similar reasons, bored not challenging etc, for a different career path, only to find its not wht it seems I wasnt wise about the move and

Maybe, their lack of basic job search knowledge (appearance and being prepared with a resume) is why they are unemployed. Employers are looking for the best! Sounds like some of these folks were at the bottom of the barrel.

The brave may fall, but never yield! Do not give up, I can tell you want this badly. If you give up on yourself u will NEVER be a nurse, so keep trying its the only way. Good luck!

Hi guys, so happy to have found this thread. I am 30 and just about decided nursing will be my career path. Married with 2 girls (13 & 2) it's just time! Very encouraging to see persons with a more mature outlook starting out and also acheiving. Good luuck to all! Any south florida students?

Hi guys, I am currently considering going to Broward College to start taking my pre-reqs but this is my question. Are any of your pre-reqs avail online? I work fulltime and dont have a car :/ I'm pretty much decided this is what i want to do but wonderd if I cd do the pre reqs online. Thank you for ur help...
