I'm starting this thread for students looking to start(ing), and (or) finishing there pre's by spring of 2013 at Broward College. Also for those who are entering (or) looking to enter the Nursing Program in Fall 2013.
We are exactly one year away from this program. So tell me what classes are you taking or have left?
I have Fall Math Intermediate, A&P II lab only, and Computers (need 6 credits to get loans.) Winter College Algebra or Statistics and Chem 1032& Chem lab
Summer Microbiology and Micro Lab.
Yesterday I visted advisement at South, and when I was leaving I got a wake up call that now I will only live, eat, breath nursing school. I never felt this way before. Once me and my advisor went over my Education Plan I started to feel that school going to get harder. Hey I can do this and so can you.
Hello Cathydotcom. No updates yet same status denied-pending depart approval. Someone told me they might be checking/waiting for my Healthcare core approval since I completed it from Sheridan. How about you? Any updates?
Yeah I'm sure it says denied for that reason. Mine still says Application in Review... At least we only have 3 weeks until we find out! Even though it feels like it has been 3 years since I have applied lol

When I turned my application in on May 13 the woman said it would take thirty days and may possibly take longer. My application status says application in review and for my health career core there is a red X. Most likely they are still reviewing my job description paperwork. Does anyone else have an X for this? I'm excited and nervous about the admissions announcement. I think we should all feel positive about it bc this application pool is a lot smaller than past semesters because of all the changes for admissions. Best of luck to everyone!! Hello Everyone. I just left Health Science office and I was told they extended the application deadline to the end of this month and that we won't hear if we are accepted until July. She said we will get an email and that it is mentioned on the website but I don't see that anything has been posted.
alokihealth is correct. I just called the central office to confirm that the deadline has been extended due to the fact that they did not receive enough applicants. Guess we'll just have to wait. :-(
Hello everyone I see that every one is preparing if not ready for BCC in the fall . Congrats to you all :) I just have a quick questions I am looking to apply there for the spring 2014 and I'm not sure what the HCP0001 exam is ? If anyone of you guys know and have taken it can you please give me some insight on it ?? Please !!
