Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?
I was wondering who would turn out to be right, the Coordinator from the meeting stating the 19th or the Welcome letter that said the 15th.I was dropped from all my classes already, so I know the answer to that one lol
No worries though, it looks like pretty much everyone was dropped. I hope we don't crash any computer systems tomorrow at 0800 with everyone registering at the same time
I know it will crash, but don't give it a few minutes to 'come back' keep sending the info...don't let up not one 2nd.
Alana, did you also notice that in the email we received it says we could turn in our paperwork until the date stated. Not only on that date like they said in orientation. I wonder who is right on that one too LOL! I am going to try and submit my packet on Thursday. The worst that could happen is they say no
I actually raised my hand and asked that question specifically in the orientation when the woman mentioned that. North and Central can both turn in packets up to the date, but that South could ONLY TURN IT IN ON THE 3rd AND that they are only open for 4 HOURS the whole day!!!
I want to know what smart scheduler thought it would be a good idea to have ALL 65 applicants for south come in all within the same 4 hour period...
I'm going to be up there tomorrow anyway to check out books and supplies, so I was going to ask while I was there if we could turn it in early. Especially since the woman also mentioned that if anything is wrong, you have to get it corrected before the deadline!!! So how can you correct anything in a 4 hour period???
I'll be there to ask questions about the turn in date etc..., I can post on here tomorrow after I get a response from a live human being in the actual office
Has everyone read the instructions on how to turn in the paperwork? Its a binder with each receipt and original ceu thing; separated in sheet protectors! Lol in the correct order! My lord! I'm so busy worrying about registering I'll just stay up lol good luck everyone on getting all that you need. May the holiness enlighten us and make us graduate top of our class!
Namaste..

Alana, I bought most of my books online. I am going to go to the bookstore on Thursday to buy the stuff I could not get online. And if it makes you feel any better, I am also a nerd I bought my 2 sets of scrubs and shoes a few months ago :) I finally washed them and put them in my closet a week ago!!

I wud say go ahead and drop now, so if anything u can stay up all night and try to fix it. Or go 2 school first thing @8 to get help- jus in case anything is wrong. That's wat I wud do. I wud also save the page if u get to drop, then also save/print the registration...to ur computer...just to be safe.
