Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

Has anyone found out if we can still use ceufast.com?

Remeber they said at the pre-admission session not to go based on what is listed online because some of those classes are not for us. Some are for students who are off track (failed or withdrew) and need to retake the class.

Cant wait to register !!!!

Yup, that is exactly what that class was. I was told to drop that class and sign up with the other available class. Now I am registered correctly at South :) It is nice to know what my schedule will be like :nurse: the rest of the year!

Thank goodness someone posted here that South registration was already open. I got my South email only an hour ago. There are still forty something spots available but a few of the clinicals are already gone. I don't think the other two campuses opened their registration yet. I wish they would just stick to what they said in orientation. Good luck in tomorrows registration!!

My NUR1020 is code:413234 and it does say it is with C*****

but I do see another NUR1020 with G***** with code 409695

I just want to make sure it is okay. They both say NUR1020 South campus.

Hmm. The schedule I got said to register under the 409695 code, so that's what I did....

I missed that all together!! Since it had the other teachers name next to that number, I did not even realize it was there!! Blah! Oh well, it is all fixed now :) Thank you for responding. I am updating my personal calendar with all of the info :yeah:

Hey all, if anyone is still missing any of the info, I received the emails for ALL 3 CAMPUSES...

BTW... if anyone else is like me and doesn't have medical insurance and has to get titers, DON'T WAIT, the results take about a week to get in....

I don't have insure either! Thank god my parents are good friends with their doctor lol I got all that done on thurs after orientation. Just need drug and back grounds and then I'm good to go!!

hey! just wanted to let you guys know that they sent an email saying if u registered today you will be dropped and u will have to do it again tomorrow! make sure u check to see if they drop u or not!

and did anyone find out if we can use ceufast.com? im trying to get the certificates done!

Just checked my emails and nothing. I tell you, they are so confusing. At orientation they say Tuesday, then we get an email saying we could start on Friday, now back to Tuesday. Not loving this! :uhoh3:
