Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?
I am currently in the program at North and I started in May and I was one of the lucky ones to get pass process I and am in process II. Like other people have told you it is hard work and requires alot of studying. For those of you going to North make sure to do the objectives and pay attention in lecture and by combining your reading objectives and lecture notes you will do fine. It can seem overwhelming b/c you have lecture, clinical, math(for 2 weeks), and pharm but it is doable as long as you put the work in. At north we started with around 80 ppl in process I and only about 20 made to process 2.In regards to registration, everyone has the same regristation date and time so if you want to be at a certain campus make sure you are up early on registration day because it fills up quickly. After orientation each campus will email the schedule for their campus and the class id # that you need to select for their campus. Hope this helps
Thanks for the info. Keep up the good work:)
:)
Did anyone check the holds that they have when trying to register?
Remember, you will not be able to register until tuesday 7/19. They probably going to post the invoice for the lab by tomorrow or monday the latest. However, if you have issue with your transcript, it is recommended that you go see an advisor. hope this help!
We r almost there!!Today at orientation they brought out that we cant just go anywhere for our CEU's. Any1 know of any online sites they will approve of? I heard they wont allow you to do it thru CEUFAST.com
I have used www.rn.org which was one of the site the presenter gave to us when we went to the information session. since they say we have to do them with BC, I am going to check with them tomorrow or monday because, i have already completed all my trainings.
