Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?
I go to North. It's hard, but do-able. Listen to their warnings about your first test score. A lot of people didn't and we had more than half our class fail as a result (but we also started in summer so our days were longer and our semester shorter). Keep up with the reading, study at least ten hours a week on top of that and you'll get through it. Just go in knowing it's much harder than your pre-reqs (even micro) and treat it that way.
Congratulations Mel!!! Keep up the good wrk. Give us a brief info. about the classroom settings. which were your classes the first 8 wks? do you work at all? are you allowed to record some of the lectures. Please advise
Is Advanced college writing the same as Technical writing? I will be relocating to florida but the nursing program there requires Advanced College writing. My community college doesn't offer Advanced college writing. But I have English Comp 1 and Technical Writing
I have no idea lol we don't need those classes for BC. What school are you planning on attending?
Did we ever start a page for the aug 2011 class?
