Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

I received that email. I'm so upset because I emailed that same lady and others and they haven't replied yet. I applied in May after the 15th and when the first did pre admission status to applicants last week I was one of them but on last thursday when emails went out, my status changed back to review. I have tried numerous times to get in contact but no one ever answer. I don't understand why I was changed back. They should just accept the ones who have applied and go from there.

I got the email as well. Oh well, now we just wait some more!! SO frustrating!

Someone in my Micro class had the same thing happen to her. She went in to admissions (Central campus) and they changed it back on the spot. She got the orientation email about five minutes later. You should definitely go talk to someone there.

In the email I received it only lists 9:00 am for orientation. I guess if I have to skip my 10:30 microbiology lecture I will.

You have to go to the orientation time stated in the email. Some people go at 9 and others at 1:30. Good luck with Micro! It was no fun taking that in the short session.

Thanks suebird12, I know they are closed on Fridays but I will definitely go on Monday. I even have a print out of the page when it said pre-admission to show them. I hope that works because this is all soooooo frustrating. I'm someone that really needs to know to figure out what I will do financially. I heard the first semester is the worst and they tell you can't work full time.

Has anyone not been accepted? Do you get an email for that as well?

I got an email that today that told me that I am still pending. It was a generic email. What a waste of my time.

Thank you! I just took the lab in the last 6 weeks and I now feel like I have a good understanding of micro. I have Dr. O at Central for the lecture and he is supposed to be great. It is a ton of information in the short six weeks, isn't it?

I cannot believe that some students had "pre-admission" as their status and then they changed in back to application in review.. That is crazy and unfair! I hope those that it happened to still get accepted.:up:

Another question, is anyone bringing their parents to the orientation? I thought about inviting mine but I didn't want to be the only one. I just want them to go so they can see what my life will be like for the next year and a half..:nurse:

What campus are you hoping to go to ?

I hear bad things about Central but i would rather the professors be harder than easier on us. It will allow us to be more prepared in the long run. :)
