Broward College August 2010

Published

Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

Yea, and i believe someone else on this thread mentioned that they were going to bring a parent as well. Im hoping to go to south campus, only because i live closer and i hear the professors there aren't THAT bad. I wanted North to be my second option because of how good i hear that campus is, but after thinking about it i realized that its just unrealistic. it would be at least a 30 minute drive from my house and i don't want to risk having to rush to class in the morning or be late. So central will be my second option-- i don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. I beleive that if one studies hard enough, they can make the grade at any campus!

I did see that someone else mentioned that they were bringing their parent as well... I live about the same distance from south campus as i do from central campus but i think central campus is nicer in my opinion. I know, I heard the same about North but I would be worried about having the same conflict, time, late, rushing, etc. Well I hope it all works out for you at south, if not maybe we will end up going to the same campus. :D... Is your orientation on Thursday at 9am or at 1:30?

Yes, i agree that central campus is nicer-- its much bigger and has more of a college feel to it. South campus is very small, but im not being picky i just want to have convenience.

Im going to the 9:30 orientation. I still don't understand why they are having two sessions in that one day when they have only gone through the first round of acceptances. I guess alot of people have been accepted already and they had to split the group up, who knows?

I will be at that one as well, so I will see you there. I really don't know why they are doing the two sessions, my guess was that they cant fit everyone into the classroom, i don't know.... I feel like they are unorganized this semester, its crazy. But at least we know our status. :D

i keep going back and forth between South & Central

Me too, but I think I am going to go to central (fingers crossed) hence all the horror stories. As long as you put your mind and all efforts into it, then you should be able to get through it.

sorry i meant 9 not 9:30.... and you will figure it out glamorous there is still time. something tells me that central is going to fill up faster though cuz i think that is where most people want to go

I have actually never been to the South Campus, lol maybe i should visit .... Do you think we will have to wait to register until they do the second round?

yeah you should visit, it might help with your decision. Now that i think about it, we might really have to wait to register until they are done accepting people.. because it would only be fair to them. but gosh i dont want to wait any longer!!

Just finished all my CE's =)...eager to see how orientation goes next week!!

For those that have not completed their CE's yet: go to CEUFast.com and pay the one time $29.95 year subscription and you can do all the CE's there and print out the certificates. Hope this helps!!
